SOCIAL: NEW DELHI AND POLUTION

There is mass air pollution in New Delhi. There are people suffering respiratory distress because of the smog that has developed over the atmosphere. I think that we in western society can learn from this issue. I feel that the solution is limiting the amount of people per square meter. If we do this, there would be less pollution generated. This would then allow for a cleaner environment and better living spaces. Since Canada is not as populated as India, it would be easier to enact such regulation. In the event that its too little too late, we would have no choice. We need to start thinking of these things now, while our population is small. We need to limit the amount of people residing at any city. We also need to limit the amount of people per given square foot similar to building regulations. If we do this we would be well armed for population expansion.
